Over 450 lots of fine literature and ephemera with science fiction, fantasy, and mysteries, featuring important works from Charles Dickens, Mark Twain, John Steinbeck, and other major voices, including a volume inscribed by Ernest Hemingway. The sale includes a comprehensive section of the works of Charles Bukowski, including manuscripts, volumes with original art, and rare ephemera. Also present is a large selection of works by Richard Brautigan inscribed to his friend and biographer William Hjortsberg. The Beats and Counterculture section features scarce titles from Jack Kerouac, among many others. Also featured are posters and ephemera from San Francisco's golden age of rock.
