BIBLIO Partners with Antikvariat.net to Boost Antiquarian Book Sales in Scandinavia

BIBLIO has announced its new partnership with Antikvariat.net, a professional trade consortium consisting of Norwegian, Danish, and Swedish antiquarian booksellers.
Working together, BIBLIO will design, build, and maintain a state-of-the-art marketplace platform tailored specifically for Antikvariat.net. This platform will serve as a user-friendly marketplace, connecting book collectors with rare, antiquarian, and secondhand books from professional Scandinavian booksellers.
“Antikvariat.net has long been the premiere destination for collectors and buyers seeking material from Scandinavia, and we are honored to be entrusted with the work of helping them expand their platform's reach and capabilities,” said Brendan Sherar, CEO and founder of BIBLIO. “By combining our technology and expertise with that of Antikvariat.net, together we aim to elevate the online experience of both book collectors and booksellers.”
Established in 1998, Antikvariat.net represents a unique network of Scandinavian booksellers. This newly built marketplace site will enable customers in Scandinavia and beyond to search, discover, and securely purchase books from any of its 64 participating sellers and their collective inventory of more than 1.4m antiquarian and secondhand books.
“We are thrilled to partner with BIBLIO, whose reputation for excellence in the online bookselling community is well known,” said Lars Andreason, CEO of Antikvariat.net. “This modernised platform will provide our booksellers with expanded online selling capabilities and create more opportunities for customers worldwide to find and acquire antiquarian and secondhand books from professional booksellers in Scandinavia”.
The new ecommerce platform is expected to launch in the next few months, with features including advanced search capabilities, availability in Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, and English, plus secure payment options, and tools to enhance visibility for sellers and their inventory.
