Montblanc Writers Edition Homage to Jane Austen
Montblanc's latest annual writing instrument collection celebrates Jane Austen who joins Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Victor Hugo, and the Brothers Grimm in its Writers Edition range.
The Montblanc range has been designed to reflect Austen's passions, with the wax seal that Austen used for her letters inspiring the shape of the fountain pen, rollerball, and ballpoint models. Features include the words "By a Lady" on the cap top (reflecting how she anonymously signed her first published novel, Sense and Sensibility), a nib design with the silhouette of Jane Austen, and a cap ring with the inscription "XLIII", a reference to Chapter 43 of Pride and Prejudice in which Elizabeth sees Pemberley Woods for the first time.
