Kennedy Family Ephemera, Dada Posters, Hardy Boys: Auction Preview

Presentation copies of Evelyn Waugh's Sword of Honour trilogy, offered at Forum Auctions this week.
Here are the sales I'm keeping an eye on this week:
At New England Auctions on Tuesday, February 18, 207 lots of Literature, Children's Prints & Ephemera, including a first issue copy of Joseph Conrad's Notes on Life & Letters (1921) and an uncut sheet of 1776 paper money issued by Pennsylvania, printed on paper containing flakes of mica and threads of blue silk.
Quinn's Auction Galleries sells 145 lots of Presidential Memorabilia on Tuesday, including material from the collection of Kennedy family friend and political aide Melody Miller. Among these are extensive autograph albums, scrapbooks, and photo albums of the Kennedy clan.
At Forum Auctions on Thursday, February 20, Modern Literature, in 309 lots. Sharing the top estimate of £2,000–3,000 are a first edition of Malcolm Lowry's Ultramarine (1933) and presentation copies of Evelyn Waugh's Sword of Honour trilogy, one additionally signed by Anthony Powell. A review copy of Anthony Burgess's A Clockwork Orange (1962) is estimated at £1,500–2,000.
Swann Galleries sells Vintage Posters & Graphic Design on Thursday, in 409 lots. Each estimated at $15,000–20,000 are Alphonse Mucha's "The Seasons" series (1896); Tadanori Yokoo's poster for the November 1965 Persona Exhibition at Tokyo's Matsuya department store; and Toulouse-Lautrec's 1893 poster for Aristide Bruant. A copy of a rare 1922 Kleine Dade Soirée poster for an event featuring Kurt Schwitters and Theo van Doesburg is expected to sell for $10,000–15,000.
PBA Galleries sells 528 lots of Fine Literature – Mystery & Science Fiction – Bukowski, Beats & the Counterculture on Thursday, including a copy of the first Hardy Boys book, The Tower Treasure (1927), expected to sell for $8,000–12,000. A first Canadian edition of Agatha Christie's The Mysterious Affair at Styles (1920), with a signed letter by Christie laid in, is estimated at $4,000–6,000.
