Deborah Coltham Becomes New President of UK Antiquarian Booksellers' Association
Deborah Coltham is the new President of the Antiquarian Booksellers' Association (ABA) in the UK, taking over from the outgoing Pom Harrington.
Her term of office runs for two years and she will be joined by Bernard Shapero as the new Vice-President, with Daniel Crouch staying in post as Treasurer.
She established Deborah Coltham Rare Books in 2006 and specialises in science and medicine, with an emphasis on books from the 18th to the 20th century, an in books by or about women. Coltham previously worked at Pickering & Chatto Ltd and has worked closely with major libraries, institutions, and individual collectors worldwide. She has sat on the ABA National Council since 2017, organises the ABA National Book Collecting Prize, and is a faculty member at the annual York Antiquarian Book Seminar.
