2024 Sandars Lectures on Bibliography Now Available Online

From lecture two of the Sandars Lectures 2024
The Sandars Lectures 2024 given by Timothy Young, Curator of Rare Books and Manuscripts for the Yale Center for British Art, on 'Resistance to Bibliography' are now available online.
Young, who previously worked as the Curator of Modern Books and Manuscripts at the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library in Yale University, spoke over two lectures on how bibliography functions and how we think about the practice today, including examining the publication dates of children’s books during the 19th century. His forthcoming book Isness and Aboutness: Thoughts on Bibliography is based on his first lecture.
