This November, Sotheby’s London will stage our inaugural Old Master Prints sale. The auction will take place online during ‘Old Masters Week’, from 26th November-3rd December, held concurrently with the Old Master Paintings and Old Master & British Works on Paper sales. Led by an important group of works from the collection of the esteemed art historian and publisher, Walter L. Strauss, the sale will comprise several of most sought-after graphic subjects by Albrecht Dürer, Hendrick Goltzius and Rembrandt Harmensz. van Rijn, alongside rare prints by Daniel Hopfer and Martin Schongauer. A selection of highlights from the auction will be exhibited in our New Bond Street galleries—alongside works from the paintings and works on paper sales—from 27th November-2nd December.
