Video Fridays: Fran Lebowitz, Book Collector

As many of you know from her cameo in The Booksellers (2019), author Fran Lebowitz is very much a bibliophile. In the new Netflix series, Pretend It’s a City, she and director Martin Scorsese chat about life, art, real estate, books…. The entire seven-episode series is funny and enjoyable, but episode seven, “Library Service,” gets up close and personal with Lebowitz’s book collection. She also visits the NYPL and the Argosy Book Store. If you have Netflix, don’t miss it.
